Cansas and his Family

By now, you know well this horse and his friends. Cansas had his operation, and for the moment all is well, and he is certainly well cared for, surrounded by the warmth of the 100 Horses on the Grass team, who continue to gather and save these equines. http://www.100chevaux.org/frisonponey0304a.html By subscribing to the organization, not only are you helping to save horses, ponies and donkeys from suffering and death, you will also receive the organization’s publications, and you’ll be moved by the hearts and spirits of these animals and the people who love them. Eating with words

Popular expressions seem to me to be absolutely savoury, so much so that I can’t keep the pleasure to myself, and I want to share it with you. Don’t hesitate to send me others, as I’ll find a place for them on the site or in the next newsletter.
If someone has lived in the same way or has a resemblance to you, then You eat rice from the same pot. Japan.
Bringing home the bacon, is to earn one’s living, USA.
When a woman is compared to a fine grain of rice, it means her looks faded, and she is thièb boussao, but if she is compared to a round grain, like her shape, she is thièb dijj and more aprreciated, Wolof, Senegal. They go together like salt and pepper is a description of a happy couple, USA.
Sa thièb la, or "it’s your rice" is an expression of hip Senegalese, meaning, it concerns you, or it’s your affair.
I wish that you never have to eat your rice cold, that is to say for a thankless and difficult period that will unexpectedly arrive in your life, Japan.
Lots of wisdom in this image, that transmits the humility of the infinity of knowledge : The heavier the spikes of rice, the more they bend, Japan.
My rice must be oiled, as well-oiled rice is symbol of wealth, to make this demand means that one awaits some service, Senegal.
I hope you never hear it said that your conversation is not worth a grain of salt, meaning no one can believe what you say, USA.
If you make something before the morning rice, that which evokes the breakfast of rice and various Japanese foods, it means it’s about something that will be hard to bring about, Japan.
In conclusion of this little alimentary-linguistic walk, I wish you a night with a moon and a bowl of rice, that is to say, an agreable moment that can never leave you ! Japan.

Recipe

Coriander Snow
Take two good handfuls of coriander, and crush it and put it in a terrine, add to it water in such proportions as you wish to make and ad a fistful of powdered sugar and also the juice of a lemon you cut into slices, and leave them in the terrine to infuse for an hour or two, and when you want to put it all in your pot, filter it through a clean white napkin, and then put it in your pot.
